Nova United Under 11 are one of two U11 Nova United Junior Football Club teams that have been playing together since 2015 in the Telford Junior and Youth Football League.

The camaraderie and competitiveness amongst all the Under 11 players and parents is keen which makes training and match days great fun for all concerned.

We have a brilliant group of parents who are not only sociable but also fully involved with ensuring the squads enjoy their football to the full – just ask how many of the team are up, dressed and ready for action when normally we are trying to cajole them from bed to prepare for school!

Nova Utd U11 really does reflect the community spirit engendered by the Nova United Junior Football Club family and we welcome any new footballers who are in School Year 6 to come and train with us at Shuker on most Saturdays throughout the year.

Our eligible, registered footballers play every Sunday in the Telford Junior Youth Football League and are coached by the ebullient Dave Nuttall and Tim Shepherd. The team is managed by Elliot Rhodes who is consigned to the benches following a series of injuries sustained while training with last year’s squad!

Our job at Nova is to ensure young people have fun, make new friends and develop their potential. In this, our fourth year together, friendships have been forged beyond school boundaries and the team’s enthusiasm for football is captivating.

We are a hospitable bunch and are still recruiting for U11 teams so do not hesitate to come along next Saturday morning. Ask for us in the clubhouse or look out for the kids enjoying themselves the most!

We are a sociable bunch and are still recruiting for U10 teams so do not hesitate to come along next Saturday morning and look out for Tom Moore (Spartans), Dave Nuttall (Ninjas) and myself on the pitch through the lone goal posts next to the car park. Failing that ask in the clubhouse or look out for the kids enjoying themselves most!
