Nova United received the boys award in a ceremony at Shrewsbury Town FC

Player representatives from our teams and members of the committee received the award in a ceremony held at Shrewsbury Town FC in October.

The winners in the Girls’ category was Oswestry Boys and Girls Club, who also received their award on the night.

Nova United Fixtures Secretary, David Bate, was among the committee members present to receive the award on behalf of the club.

He said: “It was superb to get that recognition and being there to receive the award was a great experience for our players. We pride ourselves on being a club that values fair play highly and its something we instil into all of our players and everyone connected to the club from day one.

“To get this recognition in our 40th year makes it all the more special and we will be very happy to display the award in our clubhouse for everyone to see.”

If your child thinks this season might be the time to get involved in football, we’d love to see them. You can get in touch by emailing us at: enquiry@novaunitedfc.co.uk
